I was at an intimate talk at the Centre for Social Innovation in the Annex last night. Tea, onion pancakes, dumplings and details about the genesis of the project that has become more than the documentation of the women who were forced into sexual slavery but about the process of healing and how this relates to women today in a world where the statistics concerning sexual violence against woman are astounding.

I cried when I first saw them and I cried again as I watched the clips projected on the wall.
I became a supporter through Kickstarter and I reiterated my desire to help after the talk. I have been in the entertainment industry for about six years and being able to tell compelling stories is the main reason I got into the industry.
Even $1 is enough to get on their mailing list, to stay abreast of the developments.
