Awaiting Termination
In anticipation of the Terminator movie coming out next weekend, Space: The Imagination Station, has been showing the first and the third Terminator movies.
I wonder why the second is missing from the line-up?
They always do this when a new movie in a series or a reworking of a series is to be released in the theatres. They did this with Star Trek (have you seen it yet??) and they are doing this with the new Harry Potter movie.
It is crazy to think that the first Terminator movie came out 25 years ago!!! Holy crap! The clothes, hair, music is hysterical but the movie still holds up pretty well. The actor playing Kyle Reese in Terminator Salvation, Anton Yelchin (who is also in Star Trek as Pavel Chekov), wasn’t even born when the first movie came out.
Do I feel old or what??!!!
The new Terminator movie is one that I have been looking forward to. I am usually not a summer blockbuster kind of girl but I am making a lot of exceptions this year. One of the biggest draws for me is Christian Bale. Despite the much talked about onset explosion that was leaked earlier this year, I am a huge fan- Batman Begins, 3:10 to Yuma, American Psycho, Empire of the Sun?
While McG is not as much of a sure thing (or the closest thing to it) as J.J. Abrams was for Star Trek, I have to give him props for his involvement with Supernatural and Chuck.
Well, less than a week to go- can’t wait!
