We really don’t know what happened but according to reports, they are back together again.
A friend actually forwarded an article about their reconciliation.
Am I surprised?
Unfortunately (?) no. This kind of thing happens a lot in domestic abuse cases. Why? I don’t really know. I don’t know what happens to someone who is beaten down mentally and physically by someone they love.
It would be the ultimate betrayal.
You don’t want to believe it is really happening. You make excuses for them. You kick them out. You take them back. You believe that things will change because you want them to change.
Everyone deserves a second chance but has he earned it?
Is he getting the help he needs?
Is she getting the help she needs?
They had such a fairy tale life and now that life is tarnished. I hope they don’t try to carry on as if nothing happened. This is too big to sweep under the rug- though nothing has been corroborated.
They got back together so quickly. Am I crazy to think that this is happening too fast?
What kind of statement is this to the thousands (+++) who love and admire them both?
What kind of statement is this to the thousands (+++) who are in similar situations and don’t know what to do?
Something very serious (extreme understatement) happened and they both have to deal with it. As much as they may wish to work it out in private, and they should have the chance, they also have a responsibility.
They can use their celebrity for the forces of good. This is an opportunity for them to shed light on something that people don’t want to talk about.
I hope they are surrounding themselves with good people- not just the sycophants.
