Okay, I’m a bit of a cheese…
I came back from class tonight and tuned into “Grey’s Anatomy” not because it is must-see-tv or even a new episode. Why? Because this was the first appearance of Owen Hunt (aka Kevin McKidd)…sigh.
I don’t even think McKidd is amazing looking- though he looks better here than in “Rome” (amazing series, wanted more) or the short-lived “Journeyman” (not given a chance to find its feet)- but he is very sexy in a man’s man kind of way. He plays a pretty interesting character so far, hunky field surgeon, damaged by the ravages of war, desperately needs the love of a good woman…Forgive my detour into Stephanie Meyer-land.
Girls love their men slightly damaged and he does tortured and intense well. I did not have the patience to watch the entire two-hour episode. I really only wanted to see the kiss…That man knows what to do with his hands, (double sigh). I am not ashamed to admit that this was not the second or even the third time I’ve watched this kiss…
A bad kisser can be a deal breaker- you all know what I mean- and he does not disappoint.
Yes, I know this character isn’t real.
Yes, I know he is married with children.
Yes, I know I will never meet him but that’s not the point.
For me this has turned into the Cristina and Owen show- I want more! Meredith who?
