2008 U.S. Presidential Election
After 8 years of disastrous Republican bungling, I was pleasantly surprised and very relieved that Obama will become the 44th President of the United States. What concerns me are the unrealistic expectations being placed on him- he is a man who has the potential to be a “great” man but he is still a man. The hard work is just beginning and I hope he will be up to the task.
As a Canadian, I find it very interesting that 75% of Canadians polled would have voted for Obama…How then did we end up with another Conservative minority?
